Re: Security breach by your company
I am writing with respect to a security breach which has caused harm to my name which I believe your company is responsible for.
My email address robbins.canada@email.com, which I have had possession of for nearly a decade recently issued a phony letter purported to be from me asking people for money because I had been apparently robbed in Madrid.
This correspondence went to a number of people, including people I had not corresponded with in many years, who are on my contact list.
This breach of security follows 2 recent updates by your email company with respect to the robbins.canada@email.com address. These updates required me to provide you with personal information in order to continue with the use of the address.
This bogus letter purported to be from me, had language in it which as one person who knows me and who received the letter said "sounds like the way you write." I have not been able to access this email account for a number of days now including the day the bogus letter was sent out to my contact list.
I would ask your company to investigate this matter and to issue a letter of apology to everyone on that email contact list known as robbins.canada@email.com or otherwise post the apology on your site or in a recognized gazette providing a copy of that apology to me at the address provided herein.
Sincerely,
Glen P. Robbins
