Commentary
Women respondents in this ROBBINS poll are more inclined to support Lebanon in that mid-east conflict. Many women respondents believe Israel's response to be excessive
Men are more inclined to support Israel in the conflict or conversely to blame Lebanon for it.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper made a courageous decision to take the airplane he was traveling to Russia and the G8 economic summit in, and direct it to Cyprus to help evacuate Canadians from Lebanon. Many respondents who supported Lebanon in this poll were satisfied with the PM's efforts
